If you are interested in becoming an officer, we hold elections at the end of each Spring semester, but you can get involved now by being on event committees.

Howdy! My name is Matthew Lewis, and I am a senior Animal Science Major from Brownwood, TX. I have been involved in S&S from the very beginning of my time at A&M and I couldn't be more proud to serve as the 2017-2018 President. Throughout the last 3 years I have been a member of Aggie REPS and Alpha Zeta  while also being involved in many departmental events such as a member of the 2014-2015 wool judging team, a coach for the 2015-2016 National Championship Wool Judging team, received the 2016 TAMU College of Agriculture and Life sciences Outstanding Junior award, and co-authored an undergraduate thesis focused on Genetic Editing of the Swine Genome.

Howdy! My name is Garrett Wehmeyer and I am a junior Animal Science Major. I am involved with Undergraduate Research where I am currently working on two Equine projects. I hope to attend vet school specializing in large animals. I am involved with multiple other organizations on campus including Collegiate 4-H and the Pre-Vet Society.

​​Howdy! My name is Jodi Cox. I am a senior Animal Science major from Kemp, Texas. I have been a member of S&S since my freshman year and I am so excited to serve on the 2017-2018 officer team. In addition to S&S, I am involved in Alpha Zeta as well as undergraduate research. Following graduation, I plan to continue my education in graduate school.

I have been a member of Saddle and Sirloin for 2 years now, and have participated in multiple activities within the organization, as well as the 2015-16 Wool team. As a third generation Aggie, I am extremely excited to serve as your 2017-2018 Saddle and Sirloin Ag Council Rep. I hope that you are ready for an awesome year!!

Howdy! My name is Kayla Cates and I am a junior Animal Science major from Fort Worth, Texas. I have a huge passion for animal welfare and behavior and would like to work in tourist settings later in life. I will be in charge of maintaining the club website as well as various social media platforms. I am currently involved in Saddle and Sirloin and the Aggie Orientation Leader Program.

Howdy, my name is Makayla Stribling and I am a junior Animal Science major from Scurry, Texas. Last year I served as an Ag Council Representative for Saddle and Sirloin and I will be serving as the treasurer for the upcoming year. I currently work at a bull stud operation in Hearne, TX and after college I plan on attending nursing school!

My name is Alexis Gooch and I am a junior Biomedical Science major from Elysian Fields, Texas. My future goal is to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I am currently involved in undergraduate research and am working on projects in Equine research as well as cancer therapeutics. I am involved on campus in Saddle and Sirloin, Pre-Vet Society and Delight TAMU.
